Learning Beyond

The Classroom

Life does not happen in a bubble and some of the greatest learning takes place not when a child walks into a classroom…but rather when a child walks out of it. There are an infinite amount of lessons outside just waiting to be discovered. The simple statement, “Ok children, let’s go outside,” immediately stirs children to action and ignites their sense of exploration.

Kanakia Kids (RBKIS) embarked on a field trip to a Plant Nursery, where they had the chance to observe and explore a wide variety of plants, flowers, soil, seeds, and more.

Kanakia International School, Chembur’s Beatz Crew along with the girls from Nanhi Kali performed at the Mahindra Blues Festival as a part of Blues in Schools inclusivity initiative. The ensemble consisted of 45 kids aged from 11 to 17. Mr. Felix Hug, head of arts department from Kanakia International School, Chembur has made this performance possible.
